A commission highlighting the affects of divorce on children

Portraits of the campaign of the NGO Doctors of the World Spain for their projects in Bolivia. Work done in the Bolivian Altiplano during the summer of 2011, the main idea was to show a direct the protagonists who have Medicaid programs in the field. Because of the difficulty and embarrassment of many of the characters in the photographs were taken with the program Hipstamatic iPhone.

All shown photographs challenge our visual memory and seduce it. Everything is composition – photography is only one of many means for sparking off associations in the viewer's mind and set stories in motion. In this subtle media setting the images blur the boundary between photography and painting.

The Icelandic sheep, this hardy beast, can endure freezing temperatures and long standing hunger. She´s tougher and more stubborn than your average animal. Some say the Icelandic mentality is not that different from that of our sheep. There you´ll find a small community of farmers who have chosen to farm sheep only. The people live off the land, as Icelanders have done for hundreds of years. Far from bright lights and big cities, people in the Arnes region live surrounded by steep mountains and the waves crashing on the shore. In Arnes 38 people live in 15 homes all year round. In the whole area there are more than 2700 sheep. Life in Arnes is pretty set, every season has its tasks and chores. Everything runs on the everlasting circle of life.

The presented images show the south of France as it is rarely perceived.Szenes on the roadside, highway rest areas, swimming pool shops. Everyone who was traveling in this area identify these strange Arangements but removes them as not belonging to the visual memory from this touristy and picturesque area. In this memory only the cliches of a landscape will remain of a region that never been like and never be like that.

In this body of work I have dealt with the issue of the fusion between the human bodies, the colourful organic fashion and floral imagery. In arts and other creative fields, floral imagery has always been a symbol of mysticism, sensuality and innocence. In the pictures I focus on emphasizing and exploring the sexuality of my muses with the floral structures as ersatz-attraction.

This series is a look book shoot for a young fashion designer Florrie N. Inspired by energetic Gypsy dance, it aims to express the energy and dynamics of the multi-folded dress with exaggerated outlines. A sense of passion for life is supposed to be conveyed through the powerful attitude of the model and strong black&white contrast.

In the shown images (Client: advertising agency ( http://buero.stoltenhoff.de/ in Stuttgart/ Germany ) you can usually recognize only parts of the models ( neither the model nor the shown garment plays a special role ). Clothes and body are cut, the background merges with the foreground. Therein lies, so as in the narrative and humorous character, the tenor of the work. Elements from comics, film and art history and everyday life situations collide. Where just a real woman seemed to lay, the ground turns to be the pure color space, the girl under the table is reminiscent of Botticellis Venus, Batman bride, Tattoos look like clothes and a dress becomes an ornamental pattern. Tables changes into a painting surface. Humor plays a big role, humor and the freedom to tell absurd stories . Everything is composition and photography is the transformer to call up associations and stories set in motion in the mind of the beholder. Everything is subordinated to this composition.
