Fashion and Beauty Photography Workshops

Our two-day workshops at Cyan Studio are an opportunity to acquire both basic and more advanced knowledge of working in a photo studio. Professional photographers and owners of Studio Chernobyl, Thomas Debski and Lukas Zylka, will teach participants through practice, how to use natural light and flash lighting as well as consciously use the camera and light modifiers. Moreover, it will be an opportunity to work with 2 models, stylist and makeup artist. Workshops conducted in English.

SCHEDULE:

Day I: Fashion photography
10.00-18.00
Fashion photoshoot with flash lighting:
- Organisation and step by step guide to photo session
- Cooperation with a make-up artist and model
- Equipment for the session in the studio [how to set the camera and choose lenses]
- Flash lighting [soft and hard light; modifiers; the direction of light; principles of light one, two, and more lamps; glow lamp reporter]
- Photo session for participants supervised by the teachers

Day II: Natural light, images of beauty
10.00-13.00
Natural light. Discussion about the principles of working with natural light and ways to modify it, combined with a short photo session. We will explainand show how to use the blend, panels, styrofoam and other reflective surfaces, absorbing or transmitting light.

13.00-15.00
Beauty Session. Discussion of different lighting modes while shooting beauty, combined with a brief session. We will explain and show how to use modifiers, lamps and lenses.
